Adam F. Goldberg (born April 2, 1976) is an American television and film producer and writer. He is best known as the creator and showrunner of the television series Breaking In and The Goldbergs.
Based his new autobiographical ABC series The Goldbergs (2013) on old videos he had started shooting of his family in suburban Jenkintown, PA when he was 11 years old, in the 1980s.

Scripted a 2007 remake of Revenge of the Nerds (1984) starring Adam Brody, but after three weeks of filming, the project was canceled.

Educated at the Quaker-founded William Penn Charter School in his native Philadelphia, and Stagedoor Manor Performing Arts Training Center in New York. Goldberg graduated from New York University in 1998 after double-majoring in film and dramatic writing.

He is related to Max Patkin, the clown prince of baseball.
