However, that didn`t last long, as she started to travel across the Europe, mainly Italy and France, showing her skills at restaurants such as L’Arpège, among others.

Her career reached a whole new level in the early 2000s, as she decided to open her own restaurant, teaming up with restaurateur Godfrey Polistina to open the Cesca Enoteca & Trattoria, on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
