Of Ashkenazi Jewish and Greek ancestry, Andrea is the daughter of Sharon Lee and Richard Savage. While in high school she featured in several plays, including playing the lead character in the musical “Mame”. However, she didn’t pursue acting studies as she enrolled at Cornell University, majoring in government with a minor in law. However, she started performing stand-up comedy in clubs around Los Angeles, including in The Comedy Store, and The Improv, among others.

Her on-screen career started in 1995 with the role of Gertie Fitzpatrick in the short film “Song of the Sea”, and then in 1996 was selected for the part of Renata Vargas in the TV comedy series “Sweet Valley High” (1996-1997), starring Cynthia and Brittany Daniel and Amy Danles. After that, she continued with one-off appearances in such TV series as “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch” (1997), “Stark Raving Mad” in 2000, and “The West Wing” in 2003. The following year she was chosen for the part of Chelsea in the TV comedy series “Significant Others”, while in 2006 she Portrayed Tillie Sullivan in the TV comedy series “Dog Bites Man”, which she also wrote. She then appeared in the comedy film “Step Brothers”, starring Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly and Mary Steenburgen, while in 2009 she had a role in the romantic comedy film “I Love You, Beth Cooper”, adding steadily to her net worth.

In the next decade, she continued with film roles, appearing in the comedy “Dinner for Schmucks” in 2010, starring Steve Carell, Paul Rudd and Stephanie Szostak, while the same year she also created and starred in the TV comedy series “Funny or Die Presents”, aired on HBO. In 2014 she accepted an offer from Hulu to join their parody series “The Hotwives of Orlando”, in which she played Veronica Von Vandervon, and in 2015 featured in another parody “The Hotwives of Las Vegas”, followed by appearing in the romantic comedy film “Sleeping with Other People”, starring Jason Sudeikis, Alison Brie and Jordan Carlos, and was also chosen for the part of Helen Basch in the TV comedy series “Episodes” (2015-2017), which certainly increased her net worth.

In 2016 she concurrently played Laura Montez in the TV comedy series “Veep”, and also had the role of Vivian Stoll in the TV comedy crime-drama series “iZombie”, starring Rose McIver.

Since then she has had a minor role in the comedy film “The House” (2017), and is working on the drama film “Summer 03”, in which she will play the lead character, Shira, scheduled for release late in 2018.

When it comes to her personal life, Andrea has a daughter, born in 2009, but unfortunately, there are no details about girl’s father. She was in a relationship with stand-up comedian and actor Chris Hardwick from 2002 to 2003, otherwise details of her private life remain unknown to the media.
