Anne moved to Toronto, and recorded her debut album “What About Me” in 1968 which wasn’t quite successful, but her second album “This Way Is My Way” (1969) produced the No. 1 single in Canada entitled “Snowbird”, which reached No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100. She recorded two albums “Anne Murray / Glen Campbell” (1971) and “Danny’s Song” (1973) that reached the Top 10 on the US Country chart in the early ’70’s, and the latter achieved gold status in Canada.
