Anupam Kher is an acknowledged Bollywood actor, director and producer born on 7th March 1955, in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India. Anupam grew up in Shimla, in a family of modest means. After finishing his education at D.A.V. School in Shimla, he decided to enroll in the National School of Drama, where he perfected his acting skills. In the early years of his career, some of his roles were performed at the Himachal Pradesh University. Kher’s acting debut came with the 1982 Hindi movie “Aagman”, and soon followed “Saaransh” (1984). During this period he also hosted several television shows, including “Sawaal Dus Crore Ka”, “Say Na Something To Anupam Uncle” and “Lead India”.
