Barbara Broccoli Net Worth $150 million

Barbara is the daughter of “James Bond” producer Albert R. “Cubby” Broccoli and actress Dana Wilson Broccoli. She.started her career working on the “James Bond” franchise, as part of the publicity department for “The Spy Who Loved Me”. Later, she attended Loyola Marymount University where she majored in motion picture and television communications. She then worked as an assistant director of the 1983 film “Octopussy”, and four years later she would become the associate producer of “The Living Daylights” before becoming the producer of “James Bond” films starring both Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig, and began earning a name for herself aside from her father’s success. Thanks to all of these opportunities, her net worth was sure to rise. A year before his father’s death in 1996, she was given control of Eon Productions alongside her half-brother Michael G. Wilson and they still run the company today.

After her father’s passing, Barbara then worked with producer Michael Rose to create a stage musical adaptation of “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang”, based on the 1968 musical film starring Dick Van Dyke. She rehired the original songwriters of the film, but the stage version would have five new songs too. It became very successful and broke many records, so helping to raise her net worth significantly. However, when it moved to Broadway it received poor reviews, but the musical successfully toured various other parts of the world, adding to Barbara’s net worth.

One of her latest productions is “Chariots of Fire”, a stage adaptation of the film of the same name. Broccoli has worked with the original film since the 1980s, and for the stage version she became the executive producer, and also co-produced it with the original director Hugh Hudson. Other stage productions that she’s worked on include “Once”, “Love Letters”, and “La Cava”. She’s currently working as the producer of “Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool”. Other than that, she was also part of the jury of the 64th Berlin International Film Festival in 2014.

For her personal life, it is known that Barbara married actor Frederick M. Zoilo but they are divorced. In the 2008 New Year Honours, she was appointed by the Queen of the United Kingdom as Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE).

1Casino Royale is the definitive Bond story. It was always an ambition of theirs [her father Albert R. Broccoli and his producing partner Harry Saltzman] to be able to make this story, but sadly, they were never able to. So when it finally became available to us, we leaped at the chance. I like to think that I'm doing this for my dad - interview with David Giammarco, The Globe & Mail, March 27, 2006.
