Barry Pepper Net Worth $10 Million

Barry is the youngest of three sons in his family. He had an unusual and non0traditional childhood, as his family were building a ship for years and finally finished it when Barry turned five. The Peppers set sail and the ship became their home for the next five years as they traveled around the world, visiting such exotic places as Fiji, Tahiti, Hawaii and the Marquesas Islands. He was home-schooled by his parents, but they would also enroll him in public schools in those exotic places whenever possible. As a consequence of not having television on the ship and the fact that he grew up around Polynesian children who cherished dancing, singing and performing, he became interested in performing sketches as a form of entertainment. After a five-year cruise, the Peppers returned to Canada where Barry matriculated from high school and then graduated from college, majoring in Marketing and Graphic Design. After college he enrolled at the “Vancouver Actors Studio”, which determined the course of his life.

His debut on television was in 1993 in the Canadian TV series “Madison”, in which he kept his role until 1996. In the following years, he was only getting small parts in Canadian TV series’, so moved on to more notable roles in the USA. In 1996 he was cast in the TV mini-series “Titanic”, starring George C. Scott, however, his big break came in 1998 with a role in Steven Spielberg’s film “Saving Private Ryan”, a drama set in World War II. Since then, his career has only gone upwards, as well as his popularity and net worth. He was being called for interviews, a lot of directors wanted him for roles in their films and therefore the year 1998 can be marked as the real beginning of his career. That year he got a small but notable role in “Enemy Of The State”, getting the chance to perform opposite Will Smith and Gene Hackman. In 1999 he co-starred in the Oscar-nominated film entitled “Green Mile” opposite Tom Hanks, and had a lot of other memorable roles in film and TV series in the following years, such as in “25th Hour” (2002), “Flags Of Our Fathers” (2006) and “Seven Pounds” (2008), all of which added a considerable amount to his net worth.

Most recently, Barry has had roles in “True Grit” (2010) alongside Matt Damon and Jeff Bridges, in the TV mini-series “The Kennedys” (2011), “Kill The Messenger” (2014), and is to appear in “Bitter Harvest” in 2017. His net worth is certainly rising.

Due to his undeniable talent, Barry has been nominated for and won a number of prestigious awards. In 2002 he was nominated for a Golden Globe in the category of Best Actor – Miniseries or Television Film. Afterwards, he won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie for his role in “The Kennedys”.

Regarding his personal life, Barry Pepper has been married to Cindy Pepper since 1997, with whom he has one child.
