Beau Bridges was born on the 9th December 1941, in Los Angeles, California USA, and is an actor and director, best known for his roles in movies “The Fabulous Baker Boys” (1989), “Max Payne” (2008), and “The Descendants” (2011), as well in the series “Stargate SG-1” (2005-2007). His success on both the big screen and TV significantly increased his net worth. Bridges’ career notionally started in 1948.
Have you ever wondered how rich Beau Bridges is as of mid-2016? According to authoritative sources, Bridges’ estimated net worth is $14 million. Although he has earned most of his wealth thanks to his skills as an actor, Bridges has also worked as a director.
Beau Bridges Net Worth $14 Million
Lloyd Vernet Bridges III is the son of Dorothy Bridges and Lloyd Bridges, both actors, and is an older brother of an actor Jeff Bridges (“The Big Lebowski”, “True Grit”). Beau was raised in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, and acted as a surrogate father to Jeff when Lloyd was too busy with work. Bridges went to Venice High School and matriculated in 1959; he was active in baseball and basketball teams. He had a dream to become an NBA star and attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he played basketball in his freshman year before was transferred to the University of Hawaii.
Although uncredited, Beau’s first role in the film came in Abraham Polonsky’s “Force of Evil” in 1948, and the next in “The Red Pony” (1949), starring Myrna Loy and Robert Mitchum. His debut on television occurred in the sitcom “My Three Sons” (1960-1963), and Bridges starred in the military comedy “Ensign O’Toole” (1962-1963). Bridges appeared in numerous series during the ’60s, and also in some movies, such as “Village of the Giants” (1965), Larry Peerce’s “The Incident” (1967), “For Love of Ivy” (1968) starring Sidney Poitier, and Norman Jewison’s “Gaily, Gaily” (1969). All these early roles helped him to establish his net worth.
Beau Bridges was highly popular in the 70’s, and 80’s, so he landed plenty of roles in films. The most notable were Larry Peerce’s “The Other Side of the Mountain” (1975), “Greased Lightning” (1977) with Richard Pryor and Pam Grier, “Norma Rae” (1979) starring Sally Field, Jonathan Kaplan’s “Heart Like a Wheel” (1983), and “The Hotel New Hampshire” (1984) with Jodie Foster, Nastassja Kinski, and Rob Lowe. However, arguably the best film Bridges has made thus far is a romantic comedy-drama “The Fabulous Baker Boys” (1989), with Jeff Bridges and Michelle Pfeiffer.
In the 90’s, Beau starred in 15 episodes of the TV western series “Harts of the West” (1993-1994), along with his father Lloyd, and Harley Jane Kozak. He continued to appear regularly on television, and starred in the ABC series “Maximum Bob” (1998) as Judge Bob Gibbs. Bridges also had a recurring role in “Beggars and Choosers” (1999-2000), and appeared in more than 30 episodes of “The Agency” (2001-2003). Beau starred in 40 episodes of “Stargate SG-1” (2005-2007), and in “Max Payne” (2008) with Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis. Most recently, Bridges has had roles in “The Descendants” (2011) starring George Clooney, “The Millers” (2013-2015), and “Masters of Sex” (2013- ). He is currently filming “The Mosaic”, directed by Steven Soderbergh.
Beau Bridges has won numerous prestigious awards, including three Emmy’s, two Golden Globes for his work on “The Positively True Adventures of the Alleged Texas Cheerleader-Murdering Mom” (1993), and “Without Warning: The James Brady Story” (1991), and a Grammy Award. Furthermore he also has more than 30 nominations, and several other awards.
Regarding his personal life, Beau Bridges married Julie Landfield in 1964, and they divorced in 1984; they have two sons. Beau then married Wendy Treece in 1984, and they have two sons and a daughter. Bridges is a Christian and a vegan.

Quote
1
We all feel really blessed to have been with my dad for these 85 years.
2
Yes, I took up the guitar when I was about 14 or 15, in high school.
3
Dylan, myself and my father were in a two hour movie called The Sand Kings, which started off the Outer Limits series. It was sort of the two hour pilot movie.
4
My mom is many times responsible for getting us all together, but we trade off at each other's houses. My brother and I are actors and are traveling a lot of our job.
5
Second, this epic tale allows the audience to actually listen to the Native Americans and receive their wisdom. Spielberg conveys the respect for Native Americans that is normally lacking in Western films.
6
Steve and I saw eye to eye on the story and I got the part, but I think in the beginning it was due to my brother's instigation. So I owe him for that.
7
Yeah, I'm very impressed with Lifetime, this is the first time I've worked with them. I really like the kind of programming that they're into, so I'm hoping that I will.
8
I think, I would guess most people keep secrets.
9
I've always been interested in the history of the West, our country and particularly as it relates to the Native Americans - the original Americans.
10
My brother and I are always trying to figure out a way to work again together.
11
My favorite Oscar story was a year my brother had been nominated, my whole family went.
12
My favorite roles usually have to do with the story, if it's a good story I usually enjoy doing the character.
13
Part of the western movement is this desire that we, Americans, have to keep pressing on.
14
Some of my oldest friends are actors. But that's not the only place my friends come from.
15
Sure, I have a lot of friends that are actors. Just because I guess I run into a lot of actors in my work.
16
The one we keep pitching and there are no takers is The Fabulous Baker Boys Go to Hawaii. There don't seem to be any takers on that one!
17
The things I enjoy most as I watch the movie are the things that came through without even thinking.
18
But on the other hand I believe I'm a private person too, and I enjoy that aspect of my life as well.
19
First of all, my real full name is Lloyd Vernet Bridges III.
20
I also like to garden. I grow things, vegetables, flowers... I particularly like orchids. I raise orchids.
21
I got five kids, and my oldest is a documentary film maker and camera man, and still photographer.
22
I like to try to make the characters I play be as human as possible.
23
My father was my teacher. But most importantly he was a great dad.
24
As an actor, I travel around a lot and live in a lot of hotels, and many times I've been in a town where the only entertainment to be had is what you find in the hotel bar or lobby.
25
And I like music, too, I like playing music.
26
And then I got into sports and gave my guitar to my brother Jeff who was just a little kid at that time.
27
And when I've been away from my family and friends, I have felt good hearing some of those old songs.
