Beverly D’Angelo is an actress, singer, television producer, musician and cartoonist born on 15th of November 1951 in Columbus, Ohio, USA. She is probably known best for her portrayal of Ellen Griswold in the “National Lampoon’s Vacation” films, Patsy Cline in “Coal Miner’s Daughter” and Stella Kowalski in “A Streetcar Named Desire”. She has appeared in over 60 films during her career so far.
Have you ever wondered how rich Beverly D’Angelo is? According to sources it has been estimated that Beverly’s overall net worth is $20 million, acquired largely thanks to her numerous film and television appearances since the mid ‘70s. Several important awards she earned have only helped in adding to her total net worth.
Beverly D’Angelo Net Worth $20 Million
D’Angelo grew up in a family of artists as her mother was a violinist and her father a bass player. From her mother’s side, she is of English, Irish, Scottish and German ancestry and from her father’s side of Italian descent. Influenced by her parents, she was drawn to art, initially, so she worked as a cartoonist for Hanna-Barbera Productions. However, she soon decided to try for a career as a rock singer, and in the meantime, to make ends meet, she worked as a session vocalist singing wherever she had the chance. At least she had some net worth!
Beverly’s acting career started mostly thanks to her musical talents. After joining Charlottetown Festival repertory company, she started to tour with the group as Ophelia in “Kronborg:1582”, a rock musical version of “Hamlet”. This performance became very well noticed and praised, so she soon found herself on the west coast with numerous film and TV opportunities. From this point on, Beverly dedicated her acting career to TV and film, but did return to the stage once more when she played in the 1995 off-Broadway production “Simpatico”, a performance which brought her a Theatre World Award. Her television debut came in 1976 in the first three episodes of mini TV-series “Captains and the Kings”, after which she began her film career. These were solid additions to her net worth.
D’Angelo appeared in a series of hit movies during the 1970s, including “Hair”, “Every Which Way But Loose” and “Coal Miner’s Daughter”, the latter bringing her two important accolades – a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress and a Country Music Association Award for Album of the Year. However, her real breakthrough came in 1983 in “National Lampoon’s Vacation” by portraying Ellen Griswold. Beverly achieved another acknowledgement in 1984 when she received an Emmy Award nomination for her performance in “A Streetcar Named Desire”, certainly a boost to her net worth as well.
In the following period, D’Angelo starred in many other films and independent movies, some of which included “Slow Burn”, “Judgment Day: The John List Story” and “Sweet Temptation”. She made two guest appearances in the TV series “The Simpsons” in 1995 and 2008, and had a recurring role during the 2000s in “Law & Order:Special Victims Unit”. In the period from 2005-2011 she played the role of agent Barbara Miller in the HBO series “Entourage”. Her net worth built steadily.
When it comes to her more recent activity, Beverly was cast in the untitled ABC comedy pilot in 2014, and appeared beside Chevy Chase in “Vacation” comedy film in July 2015.
In her personal life, Beverly D’Angelo was married to Italian nobleman Don Lorenzo Salviati from 1981 to 1995, and a year later began a relationship with famous actor Al Pacino, which lasted until 2003, and which produced boy-girl twins.

I think personal growth has much to do with acting ability.

To become a star is the beginning of the end. I don't really want to be saddled with a screen persona.
