Robert John Odenkirk, better known as Bob Odenkirk, is well known comedian, actor, director, writer and producer. He is most famous for being a part of Mr. Show with Bob and David and television drama series Breaking Bad. His net worth is $4 million dollars. It is not a surprise, as he is well known to the public for his different kinds of activities. Bob Odenkirk was born in 1962 and grew up in Naperville. He was raised in a big Catholic family of seven children. Unfortunately the life of his family was not perfect, as his parents divorced and his father was an alcoholic and later died from bone cancer.
All these events in his life must have affected him: Bob even decided to avoid alcohol as much as he could, because of what happened to his father. While he was studying he started to improve his skills in writing and performance. His career as comedy writer began when he was a radio Dj for WIDB. There he had his own created comedy program, called “The Prime Time Special”. According to Odenkirk he was influenced by Monty Python’s Flying Circus, Let’s Get Small and such personalities as Steve Dahl, Woody Allen and Bob and Ray.
Bob Odenkirk Net Worth $4 Million
While Bob Odenkirk was trying to improve his writing in Chicago, he met Robert Smigel. This acquaintance led him to Saturday Night Live, where he started work in 1987 as a writer. During this wrk experience he had an opportunity to work with Robert Smigel, Conan O’Brien, Adam Sandler, David Spade, Chris Rock and Chris Farley. Working at Saturday Night Live not only made is net worth higher but he also gained a lot of experience in sketch writing. After leaving Saturday Night Live, he continued writing several numerous comedic stages and such shows as “Get a Life”, “The Dennis Miller Show”, “The Ben Stiller Show”, “The Larry Sanders Show”, “Roseanne” and “The Jackie Thomas Show”. Bob Odenkirk’s together with David Cross created comedy program “Mr.Show” was nominated for several Emmy awards and also gained acclaim by critics. After this project Odenkirk continued his career in television industry and in this way supplemented his net worth.
In 2009 his fame grew up even more as he became a part of famous television drama “Breaking Bad”, where he played the role of lawyer Saul Goodman, what is more, Bon Odenkirk will be the lead actor in an upcoming television series “Better Call Saul”, which will tell the story of Saul Goodman’s lifebefore “Breaking Bad”. Surely this will gain him even more money and success.
Odenkirk worked in film industry as well,he acted in such movies as “Wayne’s World 2”, “The Cable Guy”, “Can’t Stop Dancing” and “Monkeybone”. He also directed such films as “Melvin Goes to Dinner”, “Let’s Go to Prison, “The Brothers Solomon” and “Movie 43”.
Bob Odenkirk is a very talented writer and actor, he is already acclaimed by many and has gained many respected awards, probably he will become even more famous for his role in an upcoming “Better Call Saul”. The future seems very bright for him and his family as he is still ready to continue his success in acting career.

Quote
1
I actually think there's a potential, a crazy potential, that network TV could become something valuable and worthwhile, just because of fear on the part of the networks.
2
I pretty much live about 10 minutes from my office. I have two kids, and I have about 8 projects that I'm working on, so I basically just get up and go to work, and go home every night and play with my kids, so I don't really know.
3
I think independent movies are actually very challenging right now, because it was this huge scene and it was great for a few years. Then, it was totally co-opted by the studios. Now, it's become very corporate, the independent scene.
4
I'm about to go to Sundance for my 3rd year, and Sundance has never felt like a real independent festival at all. On the other hand, it might to start feel that way.
5
It is so weird to be on this side of that, because when you're starting out, and it seems like you're starting out for so long, you look up to the people who have made their mark. And you sort of want to be that.
6
The alternative scene, for a couple years now, has been taken seriously and that's a cool thing. I don't think it's exploded or anything, but I think it's pretty cool that it still exists, it's still affecting people.
7
I can't really say how big the cult is. But I'm proud of it. I'm proud that it has a life.
8
I think that cable TV is a great venue to do something interesting.
9
It's nice that the independent scene is taken seriously, and has been.
10
When I go to M Bar there's all kinds of agents there, looking for people who doing good stuff.
11
David and I got cut out the editing process on that. We were able to affect it more than not. We sent in our notes, we were able to see cuts. We weren't allowed to see dailies and we weren't allowed to sit in the editing room and just work.

Fact
1
He has German, Irish, as well as Scots-Irish and Scottish, ancestry.
2
His last name means "Church of Odin" in Old Norse. It was spelled "Oatencirck" many generations back, and originated with a German immigrant ancestor.
3
Appearing in a series of politically themed Miller Lite commercials. In one spot, he is "debating" a horse! [May 2004]
