The first game in which he led the team, against the Houston Oilers, the team won 13-3. During his second season Esiason replaced Ken Anderson and threw for 27 touchdowns, forming a great combination with the wide receivers Cris Collinsworth, Eddie Brown and Tim Mcgee.
