In 2013, he recorded the album “13” with Black Sabbath. Wilk has been active in the entertainment industry since 1981.

Brad Wilk Net Worth $20 Million
To begin with, Brad was interested in music from early childhood; his biggest influences were Led Zeppelin (the drummer John Bonham), James Brown, George Clinton and The Sex Pistols. At the age of thirteen Wilk first started playing drums, as a way to get rid of his frustrations. His first drum (a CB700) he got when the boy was fourtee, and joined a band while still studying at high school. Around 1989, Wilk auditioned for Lock Up, but was not considered good enough, however, Tom Morello, Wilk, Tim Commerford and Zack de la Rocha founded Rage Against the Machine the same year.
With a mix of rock, rap, funk and punk, combined with political ideals, the band held its first appearance in a living room of a friend. Shows followed, after which they released a demo that sold 5,000 copies. Their debut album “Rage Against the Machine” was released in 1992, and became a huge success, but after the tour for the first album, problems arose in the band and they took a break for several months. The second album was “Evil Empire” in 1996, and the following year the band won their first Grammy Award for the Best Metal Performance. Then, their third album “The Battle of Los Angeles” was released in 1999, and in 2000, “Renegades” which was an album of covers only, and the same year the band won a Grammy Award again.
However, the band fell apart when Zack de la Rocha walked out. Wilk and the two remaining members, Tom Morello and Tim Commerford, decided to stay together to form a new rock band. Producer Rick Rubin suggested having a jam session with Chris Cornell, and they met and decided to form a new band entitled Audioslave. Together, they released three studio albums – “Audioslave” (2002), “Out of Exile” (2005) and “Revelations” (2006), but disbanded the following year.
In 2013 Wilk became part of the American rock band The Last Internationale with guitarist Edgey Pires and singer Delila Paz. Then in the middle of 2016, Brad reunited with Tim Commerford, Tom Morello and Chuck D forming the so-called super band called Prophets of Rage, launching their first single of the same name “Prophets of Rage”.
Finally, in the personal life of Brad Wilk, he married Selene H. Vigil in 2005. They divorced in 2013. Currently, he is dating Juliette Lewis. Brad was diagnosed with diabetes in 1997, and has promoted charity activities in support of awareness of the disease.
