He is a television personality as well as a journalist, who is probably best known for being the host of his own TV show called “Special Report With Bret Baier”, which is aired on the Fox News Channel. He is also recognized as a former correspondent at the Pentagon and White House. Currently, he is also known for being the chief political anchor for Fox television. During college, he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity.
Right after graduation, Bret`s career began, landing a job at Rockford, Illinois’ local TV station. After that he joined WRAL-TV, which is a CBS affiliate based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Several years later, he sent a tape in the form of an audition to Fox News in 1998, and was soon appointed as the Atlanta bureau chief for the network, which became the main source of his net worth over the next few years. However, he was sent to the Pentagon in 2001 to report on the 9/11 attacks, and after his coverage ended, Bret was appointed as the permanent Pentagon correspondent for Fox News. In the next five years in that position, Bret was sent to Iraq and Afghanistan 13 and 11 times respectively. During that period, his net worth increased to a large degree, and his popularity was also on the rise. After five years in Pentagon, Bret was moved to become White House correspondent, reporting on the administration of George W. Bush.
