Brian was thrown into show business at the early age of five, when he won the role of Andy Keaton in the sitcom “Family Ties”; he received three Young Artist Awards for his performance on the show, and became one of the most promising stars of Hollywood at the time. In 1988 he appeared in the made-for-television movie “Go Towards the Light”, while in 1992 he starred in the horror film “Mikey”, as a young demonic boy who murders his parents; the film drew considerable attention, and was heavily criticized by the public. The same year, Brian got the part of Alexander Rozhenko, the son of Worf and K’ehleyr, in the TV series “Star Trek: The Next Generation” (1992-1994), which further increased his popularity and net worth. However, Brian decided to retire from acting in 1995, still landing several roles before the retirement, including the lead role in the comedy “Blank Check” (1994), and drama “Lily in Winter” (1994), increasing his net worth further.

After retirement, Brian lived with his mother and stepfather in Boulder, Colorado, where he went to Boulder High School. He matriculated in 2000, and while in high school, he formed the rock band Late Bloomers. After high school he continued with his musical career, playing in such bands as This Life of Mine, Thruster and The Light on Adam’s Stereo, among other solo projects.

He then went through a turbulent period of his life, being arrested several times, mostly for domestic abuse and marijuana usage, and received two years of probation twice, firstly in 2007 and then again in 2010. These events no doubt effected his net worth.

Most recently he became the guitarist and singer of the bands Lowjob and Bootjack & Bonz, and is also a touring member of the rock band The Ataris.

Regarding his personal life, little is known about Brian in the media, as he tends to keep his life hidden from the public eyes.
