Buckethead Net Worth $8 Million

Buckethead is the youngest child of five, born to Tom Carroll and his wife Nancy. Growing up he was an introvert, mostly spending time by himself in his room, reading comic books and playing with other toys. When he was 12 years old, he picked up a guitar for the first time and was taught the basics by “an old man who lived down the street” – literally – from Buckethead’s home. He and his family moved to Claremont, and there, he took guitar lessons from various private teachers visiting a local music store, including Paul Gilbert.

His professional career started in 1987 when he joined the band Class-X, but which soon fell apart. He was then a part of several bands, including Limbomaniacs, Deli Creeps and Praxis, before he released his first solo album, entitled “Bucketheadland”, but it wasn’t until the early 2000s, that he started releasing several albums per year. Also, he became known for his “Pike” albums, of which he now has 272. His last non-Pike album came out in 2012, entitled “Electric Sea”, his 35th studio album. He is now working on his 36th non-Pike album, which will be out in October 2017. Aside from recording albums, the sales of which increased his wealth, Buckethead has toured extensively but took a break from touring between 2011 and 2016 to focus more on his recordings.

Buckethead has also worked with numerous groups and artists, including Cobra Strike (1999-2000), then Viggo Mortensen, firstly in 1999 on Mortensen’s albums “One Man’s Meat” and “The Other Parade”, then from 2003 until 2005 and again from 2008 until 2013, He was a part of Guns N’ Roses from 2000 to 2004 on their tour The Chinese Democracy, and most recently worked with Lawson Rollins in 2011 on his album “Elevation”.

His music covers many genres from progressive rock to heavy metal and J-pop, but he has also used his talents to create music for films; some of his credits include music for “Mortal Kombat” (1995), then “The Weather Underground” (2002), and for the video game “Twisted Metal” in 2012.

Thanks to his skills, Buckethead has received numerous honors, including being named as eighth in the Top 10 Fastest Guitar Shredders of All Time by the Guitar One magazine, and was listed in the 25 all-time weirdest guitarists and 50 fastest guitarists of all time by Guitar World magazine.

Regarding his personal life, little is known about Buckethead’s life, as he tends to keep the most intimate details of his life hidden from the public eyes. although there are rumours that he is “married with kids”. He has been primarily focused on his musical career.
