Byron Allen Net Worth $300 Million

To begin with, he was raised in Detroit, Michigan. Byron loved to accompany his mother to work into the NBC studio in which she held the position of publicist, a little boy waiting for the possibility to sit at Johnny Carson’s desk and imagining himself to be a talk show host, when the studio was empty. He was educated at Los Angeles High School, but since adolescence he has been doing stand-up comedy. Being 14, he was performing in one of the well-known comedy clubs in Los Angeles, when he was spotted by the well-known comedian Jimmie Walker, who was impressed by the show of this young teenager and invited him to join his writing team and work alongside David Letterman and Jay Leno. Being 18, he set the record as being the youngest comedian ever to perform on “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson” (1979). Impressed by the relaxed appearance of the young man, the producer George Schlatter invited Allen to co-star alongside John Barbour, Sarah Purcell and others in the reality television series “Real People” (1979–1984). Thus, comedy increased the net worth of Byron Allen.

Being a newcomer on television, Byron was interested in everything, especially the subtleties of television production. In 1993, he founded the independent television production and distribution company called Entertainment Studios, which later evolved into a very successful and profitable business. The company debuted with the television series “Entertainers with Byron Allen” (1993–present) which focuses on interviews with celebrities. The company is still the biggest independent production and distribution company, currently producing 29 syndicated TV series among which are comedic talk show “Comics Unleashed” (2006–present), the biographical television series “The Young Icons” (2010–present), the nontraditional/dramatized court show “America’s Court with Judge Ross” (2010–present), the reality-based dating competition series “Who Wants to Date a Comedian?” (2011–present), and the sitcom “Mr. Box Office” (2012–present) among many other popular series, which all add sums to the overall size of Byron Allen’s net worth.

It should also be mentioned that Entertainment Studios headed by Allen has launched eight syndicated networks, including Justice Central, Recipe TV, Pets TV, MyDestination TV, ES TV, Comedy TV, Cars TV and Automotive TV. According to the data of The Hollywood Reporter, the company Entertainment Studios brings in more than $100 million in revenue annually.

Finally, in the personal life of Byron Allen, he married Jennifer Lucas in 2007, and they have three children.
