As any other American football star, Cam`s career began in high school; he attended the Westlake High School in Atlanta, where he already proved to be something. In his junior year, he attracted attention as he passed for 2500 yards and 23 touchdowns. Until he was a senior he was a main topic of many prestigious universities, including Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and others. Furthermore, he was also rated as 28th player overall. In the end, after he considered all the offers, he decided to enroll at the University Of Florida, dedicating himself even before the end of his last year in high school.

After trouble with the police amid charges for owning a stolen computer, Cam transferred to Blin College and played under the guidance of coach Brad Franchione. Continuing where he left off, Newton was selected as the only five star recruit, signing up eventually with Auburn University, and while playing for them, Cam won the Heisman Trophy Award in 2010, as an individual award, and won the BSC Championship with his team in 2011. He eventually graduated in 2015 with a degree in sociology.

Later that year, his professional career began, as he decided to enter the 2011 NFL Draft, being selected as the 1st overall pick by the Carolina Panthers, signing a four year deal worth $22 million, increasing his net worth to a very large degree.

In his rookie season, precisely in his debut appearance, Cam showed what he was all about; he broke Payton Manning`s record for the most yards passed, setting his own with 422 yards. Furthermore to his first season, he won the Rookie Of The Year award.

In the following years, Cam has set up numerous records, including first quarterback in NFL history with at least 500 yards rushing in first two seasons, first player to have 30 passing touchdowns and 20 rushing touchdowns in first two seasons, first player in NFL history with at least five rushing touchdowns and five passing touchdowns in his first five games and many, many others. Furthermore in his successful career, he has made two Pro Bowl appearances, in 2011 and 2013, and won this years All-Iron award.

Regarding his personal life, Cam’ s quite interesting; he grew up in a family of sportsmen, his father also played football, while his father`s brother was into basketball, back in their days. Cam has a younger brother, who is also into sports, playing as a quarterback in a high school.
