Carter Nicholas Oosterhouse was born on 19 September 1976, in Traverse City, Michigan USA, to Mary Lopez and Roland Oosterhouse, of Mexican-American and Dutch descent. He is a model and television personality, probably best known as a carpenter in the TLC television series “Trading Spaces”, the HGTV series “Carter Can”, “Red Hot & Green”,”Million Dollar Room” and “Celebrity Motor Homes” and the FYI series “Rowhouse Showdown”.

The year 2014 saw him hosting the reality TV series “Rowhouse Showdown” on the FYI network, portraying teams who compete in transforming dilapidated homes.
