Although he didn’t win, Casey garnered attention to his name, and as a result he was invited by several influential show hosts, including Jay Leno. He was slowly building a name for himself, especially as a part of the subsequent American Idols LIVE! Tour 2011.

His recording career also started that year, when he and Haley Reinhart recorded the duet “Baby, It’s Cold Outside”.
