Cecily Legler Strong, born on the 8th of February, is an American comedian, actress and voice actress, probably best known as one of the regulars of the TV comedy variety show “Saturday Night Live”.

The daughter of Penelope and Bill, Strong was born in Springfield, Illinois and grew up in Oar Park, Illinois. Her career started as a stand-up comedian, performing at various theatres and other events including Chicago Sketch Fest, New York Sketch Fest, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Bailiwick Theatre and Mercury Theatre. She was also a member of the Virgin Daiquiri, an all-girl improve group. Her days as a stand-up comedian tremendously helped in her career and net worth, and eventually landed her a job in the show “Saturday Night Live”.
In 2012, Strong became part of the long-running variety comedy show “Saturday Night Live”. Her presence in the show as part of the weekly segment “Weekend Update” with partner Seth Meyers became a huge hit among audience. Later on in the show, Strong also showed her writing prowess when she co-wrote and performed “The Girl You Wish You Hadn’t Started a Conversation With at a Party” and “The Girlfriend Talk Show”, among other well-received sketches.
