Back in the mid- ‘90s he was a part of the San Antonio Spurs as one of the principal owners; one of his duties was to represent the team on the NBA Board of Governors, since when his presence in the NBA grew continuously, and in 2005 he partnered with the state of Oklahoma, with of Oklahoma City-based Chesapeake Energy Corporation’s Aubrey McClendon, Tom L.
