Colin Egglesfield was born on 9 February 1973, in Farmington Hills, Michigan USA, of part-Irish descent, and is an actor, best known for his role in the long-running soap opera “All My Children” in which he portrayed Josh Madden. He also had a role in the TV sit-com “Melrose Place”. He’s been active in the industry since 2000, and all of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

He attended Marian Catholic High School, and played American Football during his time there. After matriculating, he went to Illinois Wesleyan University, where he also played for the school’s football team. Later, he transferred to the University of Iowa to take a pre-med program, and after completing his degree, he then went on a backpacking trip through Europe. Colin didn’t have much money to pay for medical school, so he turned to modelling as a source of income. However, this led him to leave medicine behind and pursue a career in modelling, and for various high profile names such as Armani, Calvin Klein, and Versace. He was also featured in several publications including “Italian Vogue” and “L’Uomo Vogue”. His net worth increased significantly thanks to modelling.

Egglesfield then took drama classes, and started taking acting work which would lead him to make guest appearances in several television series, including “Charmed”, “Nip/Tuck”, “Gilmore Girls”, and “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”.
