Damon Wayans Jr Net Worth $35 Million
Damon Kyle Wayans Jr was born in Los Angeles, California in 1982. His father Damon Wayans is an actor, too, as well as his uncles Keenan Ivory Wayans, Shawn Wayans and Marlon Wayans, and his aunt Kim Wayans. Damon Jr’s siblings Michael and Cara Mia are also actors.
Damon’s career began in 1994 when he appeared in a film “Blankman” in which his father had a main role and played Young Kevin. Wayans had to wait until 2002 to get his next big role and it was again in his father’s project. This time it was a sitcom “My Wife and Kids”. The part did not make Damon a star but it helped him to advance his career in different way as he also managed to become a staff writer. Later Damon went on to create his own sketch comedy series called “Underground” in which he also starred. In 2006 Wayans proved himself to be an excellent stand-up comedian, too, as he appeared on HBO show “Def Comedy Jam”, and in 2009 Damon got a main part in a comedy film “Dance Flick” which was written by a whole group of Wayans family members. A year later “The Other Guys”, with Damon Wayans in it, came out as well as “Marmaduke” where Damon contributed only his voice. Damon Wayans’s next big step in his career and in his net worth came in 2011 when he was cast for a sitcom on ABC called “Happy Endings” as a character Brad Williams. The show was a big success and it also earned Damon Wayands two nominations – NAACP Image Awards nomination in the category of Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, and Critic’s Choice Television Awards nomination. The show ended in 2013, after running for three seasons.
In the same year that Wayans began working in “Happy Endings” he was also cast for another famous show – “New Girl”. However, Damon only appeared in one episode and decided to give up “New Girl” and focus on his work in “Happy Endings” instead. Damon returned to “New Girl” in 2013 when “Happy Endings” was over. He appeared in four episodes of season 3 and got a part as a regular cast member in season 4. These two famous shows increased Damon Wayans’s popularity and of course his net worth, too.

There are my kinds of comedians. The observational humorist, the impressionist, the character creator, the physical comedian, the self-deprecator and the dirty joke teller. What made Richard Pryor so brilliant is he was able to incorporate all these styles at once.
