Danny Bonaduce Net Worth $2.5 Million
Danny Bonaduce rose to fame early in his life, when cast in “The Partridge Family”, in which Bonaduce, who was 11 at the time, played a bass-playing member of the family. The show was a huge success and brought the whole cast international fame. At that time, however, his personal life was far from glamorous; his co-workers noticed that Danny would often show up covered in bruises, and he confessed that he was abused by his father, script-writer and producer Joe Bonaduce. Members of the cast did their best to secure Bonaduce from his abusive family environment, but his difficult childhood and early fame eventually took its toll. The show ended in 1974 and the young actor was left with enormous amounts of money, a great start to his net worth, but no emotional stability. In the late 1980’s and early 1990’s the actor struggled with drug abuse which led to several arrests. His later addiction to alcohol was documented in the reality TV series “Breaking Bonaduce”. The cameras captured one of the most difficult period of his life, as he struggled with both alcohol and drug abuse and tried to save his marriage at the same time. Bonaduce also told his life story in his autobiography “Random Acts of Badness”, which also added to his net worth.
Luckily, the former child star managed to put his life back together, and continued to have a successful career in Hollywood. After appearing in numerous TV shows, such as “The Soup”, “I Know My Kid’s a Star” and “The Adam Carolla Show”, and then he started his own radio show. Thanks to his great sense of humour and distinct voice, he was successful on radio career in the 80’s. From 1994 to 1996 he hosted his own radio show “The Danny Bonaduce Show” on The Loop WLUP AM/FM. Later he became a host of a morning show on WKQI. Since November 2011.Bonaduce has hosted a morning talk/music show on radio station KZOK-FM in Seattle. Radio has been the most consistent source of income for Danny, managing to maintain a reasonable net worth.
In addition to being an actor and a radio host, Bonaduce is also a semi-professional wrestler, which has also helped to increase his popularity and net worth. He has wrestled many other public personalities and professional athletes in numerous charity events, the majority of which ended in Bonaduce’s triumph. He was also a part of the “Hulk Hogan’s Celebrity Championship Wrestling” show.
In his persoanl life, Danny Bonaduce has been married three times, firstly to Setsuko Hattori(1985-88) and then to Gretchen Hillmer(1990-2007) with whom he has two children. Their complicated marriage was well documented on “Breaking Bonaduce”. He started dating his third wife Amy Railsback in 2007, and the couple married in November 2010. Bonaduce has admitted more than once that marriage has helped him to quit booze, and completely changed his life.

Being a child star is great. It's being a former child star that sucks.

When I was living on the street I would be standing out in front of Grauman's Chinese Theater, leaning against my car and signing autographs and nobody had any idea that I was living in it. No one had any idea that I was going to pull my car around the corner and go to sleep.

Most child actors were lucky enough to get the part in the first place. They cry and complain that now they are no longer little and cute Hollywood has no use for them. What we often fail to appreciate is that being little and cute may have been their only skill. Now that we are not so little anymore, and certainly not cute, some of us may have to face reality, stop whining, and get real jobs.

His fame as a Partridge led to jealousies at home, making an already bad family situation worse. To get him away from that atmosphere, TV mom Shirley Jones and the other adults from the cast had Danny stay with them some weekends. Jones had children around Danny's age, so he fit in at her house. Susan Dey and David Cassidy treated him like a kid brother, while Dave Madden was like a bachelor father or bad uncle, teaching Danny to play cards, drive a car . . . and smoke.
