David Arquette Wiki Biography

David Arquette is a famous American film producer, actor, TV producer, fashion producer, designer, TV director, voice actor, film director and even a wrestler. Today David is known as one of the richer personalities in show business with an estimated net worth of $18 million. Despite his variety of activities, the main amount of money Arquette has earned is through acting and wrestling. David Arquette was born on September 8 1971 in Bentoville, Virginia. His mother was Brenda Olivia “Mardi”, Jewish poet, actress and acting teacher, while his father, Lewis Arquette, was an actor. When David with his brothers were young, their family lived on a commune in California, but later moved to Los Angeles so his older brother Rosanna could start his career as an actor.

David Arquette Net Worth $18 Million

The Arquette family is closely associated with actingin films and the theatre, so when David decided to be an actor too, no one was surprised. The first serious success and then popularity came to David Arquette in the 1990’s when he started to appear in Hollywood movies, such as a Western movie about the last days of Wild Bill Hickok called “Wild Bill”; American TV series about battle against vampires, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”; and the American slasher film “Scream”.

As a professional wrestler David Arquette started his career in 2000 after filming in the WCW – World Championship Wrestling for a movie “Ready to Rumble”. Later all the money he earned in this sphere Arquette started to donate to the families of Owen Hart, famous Canadian wrestler who died on May 23, 1999 during an Over the Edge pay-per-view event. Also Arquette donated some money to families of wrestlers Brian Pillman and Darren Drozdov.

Although David Arquette’s career and success were rising safely, but gradually, it is believed that he  became a household name after appearing in the famous “Scream” movie where he portrayed Deputy Dwight “Dewey” Riley. By the way, during the shooting of “Scream”, the famous actor and wrestler also met the co-star of the movie – now Courtney Cox Arquette. The couple began dating when “Scream 2” was being produced and arrived from their honeymoon period just in time to act in “Scream 3”. Together they have a daughter named Coco Riley Arquette (she was born on June 13, 2004), but on October 11, 2010 the couple announced a trial separation even though they “still love each other deeply”. Many people think that this separation was nothing more than a show to increase Arquette’s net worth even more. If this assumption is true, then David and Courtney went over with a bang. However, the couple conclusively divorced in 2012. One of the reasons for the break-up was Christina McLarty – “Entertainment Tonight” correspondent and David’s new girlfriend. On April 28, 2014 their son was born. The couple named him Charlie West.

During his acting career David Arquette has appeared in more than 60 movies and in many TV shows and now also takes part in filming movies, such as “Hemlock Drive” and “Mile High”. Until today he is just in great demand and it looks like David’s net worth is going to rise even more.

1I'm trying to keep my personal life personal. It's very hard for me because I'm a very honest person.
2Kids today are smarter than we ever were. And they've got computers, too, which is awesome. They're scary to me.
3When you're just an actor, maybe not the top of the list guys, you get constant rejection and it's fun.
4I love when you go to a horror film with real horror fans and everybody's there watching, getting involved and screaming. That's when it's most alive and exciting for me.
5To get involved with a cause, you really have to become aware of it. You have to go on the ground and see with your own eyes, the people who have been affected by it, their process in how they're combating it, and what the organization represents.
6Yeah, I definitely wanted to do a kids' movie because I have a kid. I want to do things that my daughter can see soon - when she is old enough to know what a movie is.
7The first horror film I remember seeing in the theatre was Halloween and from the first scene when the kid puts on the mask and it is his POV, I was hooked.
8I don't know why I always end up talking about my relationships. I try not to.
9I seriously started drinking probably when I was about twelve. Kids are doing a lot of stuff very early.
10I'm not one to run around with different girls. I like someone that makes me feel good and that I can make feel good.
11I'm trying figuring out how to be the best person I can be. But it's been a process of trial and error.
12People that go through what I went through and people going through divorce, it's really a difficulty process; it's heartbreaking and it hurts really bad. It can really mess with your head.
13I don't want to lie. I dislike dishonesty. And I work in Hollywood, a town and a business that relies on a lot of falsehoods with people hiding behind different facades. I don't want to be a part of that.
14I like to mumble when I act, 'cause I think it's more realistic. For some reason, the impediment has given me the accent of a Mexican gangster.
15I know I probably offend some people. I have been talking a little too much so I'm trying not to talk as much.
16I love round people, I love skinny people. I love people in general; we've got to get past labels and stop being so critical about everything.
17I can relate more to people at a horror convention than I can to most Hollywood executives. They're more passionate.
1David and Christina McLarty became the parents of their first child, a boy named Charlie West Arquette, born on April 28, 2014 in Los Angeles, weighing in at 8 lbs. 7 oz.
2Traveled to Africa for the first time as part of "Malaria No More", to witness with his own eyes the devastation Malaria has had on several regions of Senegal. [August 2011]
3Longtime friend of Stacy Keibler.
4Entered a rehabilitation program to deal with alcohol abuse and "other issues". [January 2011].
5Uncle of Zoe Sidel (Rosanna's daughter), Enzo Rossi and Harlow Olivia Calliope Elliott (Patricia's children).
6The family surname was spelled "Arcouet" many generations back. His father had French-Canadian, English, Swiss-German, German, Scottish, Irish, and Welsh ancestry. David's maternal grandfather, Yusseff "Joseph" Nowack, was a Jewish immigrant from Bila Zerkwa, Kiev, then in the Russian Empire, while David's maternal grandmother, Claire Hibel, was born in New York, to Russian Jewish parents.
7Was considered for the role of Detective Shane Vendrell on The Shield (2002).
8Was succeeded in the role of Augustus McCrae in the "Lonesome Dove" film series by Steve Zahn. He and Zahn have both appeared on episodes of Friends (1994).
9Is a distant relative of explorer Meriwether Lewis.
10He and Robert Duvall, who preceded him in the role of Augustus McCrae, have also both shared a role with a member of the Sheen family. Duvall played Robert E. Lee in Gods and Generals (2003), a role previously played by Martin Sheen in Gettysburg (1993). Arquette played Two-Bit Matthews in the television series The Outsiders (1983), a role previously played by Emilio Estevez.
11In 1990, he managed to appear in two unsuccessful television series based on popular movies: Parenthood (1989) (in which he played the role originally played by Keanu Reeves), and The Outsiders (1983) (in which he played the role originally played by Emilio Estevez).
12Brother-in-law of Todd Morgan, Rosanna's 4th husband.
13Former brother-in-law of Tony Greco, James Newton Howard and John Sidel who were married to his sister, Rosanna Arquette.
14Jennifer Aniston is the godmother of his daughter, Coco Arquette. She co-starred with his wife, Courteney Cox, on Friends (1994).
15Attended Mid-City Alternative school on the corner of Adams Blvd. and Arlington Avenue in the mid 1970s. His sister, Patricia Arquette, and brother, Richmond Arquette, also attended this school.
16He, Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and Liev Schreiber are the only four actors to appear in all three "Scream" films. Although Jamie Kennedy also appeared in all three films, his character only appeared on a videotape in the third movie.
17During a live televised event in Los Angeles, the WWF was "fighting" an invasion from WCW and ECW. Arqutte, Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins and Arnold Schwarzenegger were all in attendance at the event in one night. This is interesting for that fact that David was a former WCW talent, Billy was a loyal ECW supporter and Arnold had always been a WWF supporter. The WWF showed each one of them on screen. David got a huge laugh for wearing a mask and then ripping it off to show who he was.
1813 June 2004: birth of his daughter, named Coco Riley Arquette Coco Arquette.
19He played a character whose last name is "Geller" in Never Been Kissed (1999). His wife Courteney Cox plays "Monica Geller" on Friends (1994). He appeared in Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992), the title role of which was later portrayed in the TV show of the same name by Sarah Michelle Gellar, who appeared in Scream 2 (1997) with Arquette.
20Attended The Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies in Los Angeles, California.
21Owns the former booking chair from the West Hollywood Police Department which was sat in by a number of different stars when they were arrested, among them Hugh Grant. David has mentioned this to Hugh, and publicly offered to give the chair to him on Late Night with Conan O'Brien (1993) in October of 2003.
22On a 2002 episode of WWE Raw (1993), he sat behind announcers Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross for the entire show while holding a sign reading "Former WCW Champion". He was there simply as a fan, and the announcers never acknowledged him.
23He was among two people to be a non wrestler and hold the WCW World Title, the other was Vince Russo, a booker. Another non wrestler who held another title was Eric Bischoff, as WCW Hardcore Champion. The company was sold within a year of all of this.
24Since radio host Howard Stern continually referred to his wife as "Courteney Cock" in a 2000 interview, Arquette responded by calling the King of All Media "Howard Sperm".
25Is the voice of Eddie Wachowski, a character in the EA Sports Big game SSX Tricky (2001) (for Playstation2, Nintendo Gamecube, Xbox).
26His wedding to Courteney Cox was held at San Francisco's Grace Cathedral.
27Formerly brother-in-law of actors Nicolas Cage and Thomas Jane who were married to his sister, Patricia Arquette.
28Grandson of Cliff Arquette, better known as "Charley Weaver" from The Hollywood Squares (1965) and Julie Harrison.
29On WCW Thunder (1998) on 4/27/00, he became the WCW Heavyweight Champion in a special tag match, pitting him and his partner Diamond Dallas Page against Jeff Jarrett and Eric Bischoff. The stipulation was that whoever got the pin would become champ, and after his involvement in previous matches, Arquette was able to pin Bischoff and win the title.
30He is in a rock band called EAR2000.
31Son of Lewis Arquette and Brenda Denaut.
32Younger brother of Richmond Arquette, Alexis Arquette, Patricia Arquette and Rosanna Arquette.
33He is the 1-800-CALL-ATT Guy.
