Dennis is the son of Dennis P Crowley and his wife Mary Moraski. He went to the Xaverian Brothers High School, located in Westwood, Massachusetts, from which he matriculated in 1994, and then enrolled at Syracuse University, and graduated with a BA degree from university`s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, after which he continued his education at New York University`s Tisch School of the Arts, receiving M.P.S master`s degree in Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP).

While in Tisch School of Arts, Dennis got his first job, working as a researcher for Jupiter Communications, and then joined the mobile app provider Vindigo, serving as a product developer.
