Donald picked up a racquet when he was only three years old; he was taught by his parents, who both worked as tennis coaches, and founded the South Fulton Tennis Center in College Park, Georgia.
Jesse first came to notice in 2001, when he lost to Levine in the U.S. Clay Court 14 Nationals in Fort Lauderdale, he served for the win, however Levine got back into the match, and eventually won.
