In 2006 Stallworth was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles. During his time with the team, he was reportedly in the league substance abuse program.

The following year he joined the New England Patriots, signing a six-year, $30 million contract with $3.5 million guaranteed, boosting his wealth considerably. However, the team released him only a year later.

He then signed a seven-year, $35 million contract with the Cleveland Browns. But, in 2009, he was suspended by the NFL for the entire season without pay due to his conviction on a DUI manslaughter charge.

The following year he joined the Redskins again, but was waived by the team only a few months later, which lead to his retirement. During his 10-year career in the NFL, Stallworth achieved a great level of popularity and established a considerable wealth.

After retiring from professional football, he made a career switch and began working for the Huffington Post, which named him one of its national security fellows in a six-month internship, covering national security and politics in Washington, D.C. However, as of 2016, he works as a strategy consultant at Valens Global, combating terrorism.

When it comes to his personal life, Stallworth likes to keep it away from media. Therefore, sources don’t have any details regarding his marital/relationship status. It is it believed that he is single at present.
