Dustin Neil Diamond was born on 7th January, 1977, in San Jose, California USA of Jewish, English, Scottish and Irish descent. He is a stand-up comedian, actor, director and musician. Dustin is usually recognized as Samuel Powers from the television series “Saved by the Bell” (1989 – 1993) etc. He debuted in the entertainment industry in 1987 and is active up until now.
So how rich is Dustin Diamond? During his long spanned career Dustin has accumulated a net worth of $500,000, and the sources of his wealth are music, writing, acting and comedy.
Dustin Diamond Net Worth $500 Thousand
To begin with, he was born and raised in San Jose, California where he studied at the Zion Lutheran School. Dustin has been interested in acting since his early childhood. As an actor he debuted when only 10 years old, appearing in a short film “The Price of Life” (1987) directed by Stephen Tolkin. The same year he showed up in episodes of the television series “American Playhouse” (1987), “It’s a Living” (1987) and “Yogi’s Great Escape” (1987). A year later, Dustin appeared in the main cast of the feature film “Purple People Eater” (1988) written, produced and directed by Linda Shayne. All these roles gave a solid start to Dustin’s net worth.
Later, Dustin Diamond created the character which has increased his popularity and wealth the most – it is the picture of Samuel “Screech” Powers. This character appeared in lots of television series including “Good Morning, Miss Bliss” (1988 – 1989), “Saved by the Bell” (1989 – 1993), “Saved by the Bell: Hawaiian Style” (1992), “Saved by the Bell: The College Years” (1993 – 1994), “Saved by the Bell: Wedding in Las Vegas” (1994) and eventually “Saved by the Bell: The New Class” (1994 – 2000). Afterwards, the role of himself as Dustin Diamond occurred in many films and series including “Made” (2001), “Big Fat Liar” (2002), “Star Dates” (2002), “Pauly Shore Is Dead” (2003), “Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star” (2003), “Celebrity Big Brother” (2013) and “Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit on the Side” (2013).
In addition to the above, Dustin increased his wealth landing small roles in various films as follows: “Jane White Is Sick & Twisted” (2002), “13th Grade” (2005), “Our Feature Presentation” (2008), “American Pie Presents: The Book of Love” (2009), “Big Money Rustlas” (2010), “Tetherball: The Movie” (2011), “College Fright Night” (2013) and other films. His most recent work is a role in the main cast of the independent feature film “Hamlet A.D.D.” (2014), directed by Bobby Ciraldo and Andrew Swant. Of course, appearances in all these movies have significantly boosted Dustin Diamond’s net worth over the years.
In addition to this, Dustin has worked as a stand-up comedian for many years, which has also added considerably to his wealth.
Furthermore, Dustin founded a music band called Salty The Pocketknife. More, he was a composer and bassist, and the band released a studio album before splitting up because of too many disagreements.
Finally, the personal life of the actor has not been very fascinating. Dustin was in a long term relationship with his girlfriend Jennifer Misner. The couple married in 2009, but have apparently separated as Dustin describes himself as single, and resides in Port Washington, Wisconsin, USA.

When all is said and done I'm going to look back on my career . . . and I'm going to be proud of it all.
2
Screech and I have a lot in common. We are both strange, funny, interested in computers, good at chess, and chick magnets.
3
I hope people stop remembering me as Screech and remember me as Dustin Diamond. I think my stand-up routine is helping that.
4
A lot of people do stand-up comedy in hopes of landing a television series. Well, I'm just the opposite. I've already had a TV series and now I'm doing stand-up. If this doesn't work, soon I'll be doing security with Gary Coleman.

Fact
1
Near the end of 2014, Diamond was arrested after a bar brawl in Wisconsin and charged with felony assault and two misdemeanors stemming from his alleged stabbing of another man. In May 2015, Diamond was acquitted of the felony charge and convicted on both misdemeanors, with a maximum sentence of a year in jail for the combined results. On June 25, 2015, Diamond was sentenced to 4 months in jail and to a post-sentence period of probation.

Diamond was not invited to participate in two fairly high-profile events that reunited the main cast of "Saved by the Bell": a 2009 cover story for "People" magazine on the 20th anniversary of the show's debut on NBC, and a 2015 skit on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" that had Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Tiffani Theissen, Mario Lopez, and Elizabeth Berkley (along with Dennis Haskins) reprise their characters on the show. Dustin Diamond later stated that he did not want to participate in the Saved By The Bell reunions.
3
Diamond became a figure of controversy in the mid to late-2000's because of three major events where he came across negatively: an alleged sex tape involving two women, an appearance on the VH1 show "Celebrity Fit Club" where he clashed with the other contestants and the show's hosts, and his 2009 tell-all book "Behind the Bell" where he talked about being mistreated and shunned by the rest of the SBTB cast. Diamond later claimed that none of those events were based in reality, saying that he faked his participation in the sex tape by having an anonymous man provide a "stunt penis" to film it, that he was recruited and scripted to be the VH1 show's villain to help ratings, and that the book was written by a ghostwriter hired by a cut-rate Montreal-based publishing house who took Diamond's non-specific notes and made up fictional accounts to fill out the manuscript.
