After this first television experience, in 2002, Elisabeth Hasselbeck hosted “The Look for Less”, a fashion makeover show aired by the Style Network. A year later, in 2003, she started working with Barbara Walters, Star Jones, Meredith Vieira, and Joy Behar, as co-host of “The View”, a popular television talk show. The hosts of the show have changed over the 10 years in which Elisabeth was part of the project. During this period, the television host was several time in the attention of the media, mostly because of her conservative political opinions, a lot different from the ones of her co-workers. Her speeches have approached important topics, such as the United States’ involvement in the Iraq War, abortion and politics. In 2009, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and her co-workers, Sherri Shepherd, Whoopi Goldberg, Barbara Walters, and Joy Behar won the Annual Daytime Emmy Award, for Outstanding Talk Show Host.

As she is suffering from celiac disease, the television host wrote two books on this subject, “The G-Free Diet: A Gluten-Free Survival Guide” and “Deliciously G-Free”, both bestsellers.

In 2002, Elisabeth married professional football player Tim Hasselbeck, whom she had been dating since college. The couple has 3 children, 2 sons and one daughter. Her husband’s net worth is estimated at $12 million also, which makes them one of the rich famous couples in North America.
