In 2012, the album “Radio Music Society” was released, which reached tenth position on the ranking Billboard 200, and won the Grammy Award for the Best Jazz Vocal Album in 2013; up to date, it has been sold more than 130 million copies. Three songs on the album were recorded with the participation of Jack DeJohnette, Joe Lovano, Billy Hart and Lalah Hathaway, and it’s worth noting that the song” City of Roses” won the Thara Memory Award and the album won the Grammy Award for the Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying Vocalist (s) 2013. In 2014, she participated as a guest, recording on the sixth album of Chiara Civello entitled “Songs”. Recently, Esperanza Spalding recorded her fifth studio album “Emily’s D + Evolution” (2016) under the label Concord Records.
