Felix Gary Gray is a New York-born American filmmaker, a director, producer as well as an occasional actor who is best known for directing successful movies like “Straight Outta Compton” and “Friday” among others. Born on 17 July, 1969, Gary is of African American descent and has been active in his profession since 1989.

Gary is also noted for directing the commercially successful movie “The Italian Job”, which stars Academy Award winning actress Charlize Theron and Mark Wahlberg, an Oscar nominated actor. Gary’s most recent direction was in the commercially successful movie “Straight Outta Compton” which documented the biographical events of the rap group N. W. A. Most recently, he was selected as the director of the 8th movie of the “Fast And Furious” series.
