Frank Dux started training in Koga Yamabushi Ninjutsu after Senzo Tanaka introduced him to that martial art style, and from 1975 to 1980 he fought in 329 matches and actually retired undefeated.

When the article about him appeared in Black Belt Magazine in 1980, the producers wanted to make a film about him, and eight years later “Bloodsport” was released which Frank Dux choreographed.

Dux holds 16 world records including most consecutive knockouts in a single tournament – 56 (1975), fastest recorded Kumite knockout – 3.2 seconds (1975), fastest recorded punch resulting in a knockout – .12 seconds (1975), and fastest recorded kick resulting in a knockout – 72 mph (1975). He has also set records for the shortest knockout time average for a fight career – 1:20 sec (1975), first to achieve IFAA Weapons/Forms score of a perfect “10” (1975), and First Kumite fighter to exceed 300 matches (1978). In 1980, Dux became the first Kumite fighter to be undefeated with over 100 matches. In 1993, Frank became the first and so far only martial artist to break bulletproof glass barehanded and multiple champagne bottle break, a single kick with varying heights at the International Martial Arts Festival, Bercy Stadium, Paris, France.

Frank has also served as a consultant to elite military and police units worldwide, such as Special Forces, Private High-Risk Security, HRT, SWAT, Special Operations Command, Black Operations and Law Enforcement Personnel.

Additionally he is a successful author who has released several publications, including “Unlocking Power: Keys to Success” (1980), “Self Defense Against Knives” (1980), “The Guide to Ninjutsu Knife Fighting” (1987), and “The Secret Man: An American Warrior’s Uncensored Story” (1996). Supplementing his work as a choreographer in “Bloodsport” (1988) with Van Damme, Dux also worked on Sheldon Lettich’s movie “Lionheart” (1990) starring Van Damme, and in “Only the Strong” (1993) with Mark Dacascos, Stacey Travis, and Geoffrey Lewis, all adding to his net worth.

Regarding his personal life, Frank Dux’s most intimate details such as marital status and the number of children are unknown, as he successfully manages to keep them out of the public eye.
