He also worked at NASA for 30 years, and now is a fine arts photographer. Gizelle went to Hampton University, a private and traditionally black university in Virginia, from where she graduated in 1992 with a degree in marketing.
Gizelle was a big fan of “ Real Housewives…” series and watched “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” and “The Real Housewives of D.C.” before deciding to join the “The Real Housewives of Potomac” in 2016. Before that, she sold her baking goods with the pseudonym “Sweet Gazelle” to Timothy Dean, a contestant on “Top Chef”, and is well-known for her tasty treats. Gizelle wanted to further promote herself, and made a move by joining the Bravo television show along with Brynee Baylor, Ashley Darby, Robyn Dixon, Karen Huger and Charrisse Jackson-Jordan. The series premiered in January 2016, and Gizelle appeared in seven episodes. The story line is similar to others in the series, this time following the lives of six successful ladies in the Potomac area of Maryland, their everyday affairs, and the community in general.
