Harry Joseph Lennix III Wiki Biography

Harry Joseph Lennix III was born on 16 November 1964, in Chicago, Illinois, USA, of Creole and African-American descent. Harry is an actor, perhaps best known for his performance in the film “The Five Heartbeats” in which he played Terrence “Dresser” Williams. He was also part of the television series “Dollhouse” playing Boyd Langston, but all of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

How rich is Harry Lennix? As of early-2017, sources estimate a net worth that is at $4 million, mostly earned through a successful career as an actor. Currently he also plays the Assistant Director Harold Cooper in the series “The Blacklist”, and as he continues his career, it is expected that his wealth will also increase.

Lennix was educated at Quigley Preparatory Seminary South, and after matriculating, attended Northwestern University. He studied Acting and Direction, and would become the co-ordinator of the organization For Members Only during his senior year.

Harry started his career appearing in the television movie “Keep the Faith, Baby” in which he played the Harlem Congressman Rev. Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. He was then cast in the film “Titus” which is based on Shakespeare’s “Titus Andronicus”, before becoming a part of the television series “Commander in Chief” and then starring in the TV drama “The Blacklist” in 2013; the show is about a high profile criminal and former US Navy officer Raymond “Red” Reddington played by James Spader, who turns himself in and is willing to share information about the most dangerous criminals in the world in exchange for immunity. All of these projects have helped in increasing Harry’s net worth.

Harry has had several supporting roles too; some of the films he’s been part of include “The Five Heartbeats”, “Get on the Bus”, “The Matrix” series, “Ray” and “State of Play” which is based on the British television serial of the same name. He also had a recurring role in “Diagnosis: Murder”, and would then show his versatility by doing voice work in the animated series “Legion of Super Heroes”, based on characters from DC Comics, and focusing on a young Superman in the 31st century. So his net worth was rising steadily.

In the sixth season of “24”, Harry was cast as Muslim civil rights activist Walid Al-Rezani, and he also made a notable appearance in “House M.D.”, playing a paralyzed jazz trumpet player. Other popular shows he’s been a part of include. “ER”, in which he played Dr. Greg Fischer for six episodes, and he also made an appearance in the first season of “Ally McBeal”, plus playing US President Barack Obama in “Little Britain USA”. One of the roles that made him popular and increased his net worth in the Joss Whedon series “Dollhouse”, which had mixed reviews during its first season, but was renewed for a second season before getting cancelled.

Other work he’s done includes being an official judge during the first annual Noor Iranian Film Festival in 2007.

For his personal life, it is known that Lennix married Djena Nicole Graves in 2009.
