Holly Valance (Actress) Net Worth $20 million
To begin with, the girl was raised in Melbourne, and was educated at Star of the Sea College, a high school of the Roman Catholic church in Brighton.
Concerning her professional career, she was noticed as a teenage model – her talent was discovered and she was invited to join the television series “Neighbours” (1999 – 2002), and was cast to play Felicity Scully. Later, she appeared in the video “He Do not Love You Now” by the Human Nature which was quite successful and gave her the opportunity to be noticed. More, it allowed her to obtain a record contract. Her first single “Kiss Kiss” is the cover of a discreetly famous Turkish song. Holly’s song soon became a catchphrase that reached the top of the charts of Europe, Australia and Asia. The single was accompanied by the video in which the singer apparently appears completely naked in a set of white lights and laser beams. In 2002, Valance released her first album, a mix of Arabic and British rhythms entitled “Footprints”, and in 2003 she won the awards assigned by Disney Channel for the Best Emerging Artist and the Best Single (“Kiss Kiss”), which also won an MTV Video Music Award. The same year, after an appearance at the Sanremo Festival, the third single “Naughty Girl” was released, reaching third position on the Australian sales charts. There was also the release of a fourth single called “Tuck Your Shirt In”, but due to discord with the record company, the single never saw the light. At the end of 2003, “State of Mind” was released, her second album that went back to the sound of the eighties, focusing a lot on electronics. The first single “State of Mind” debuted in the standings in eighth position, the highest it reached but the album could not enter the TOP 20, a disappointing sales result. So, Holly concentrated on acting career, and after her experience in the series “Neighbours”, Valance was first chosen to play the character of Nika Volek in the crime drama series “Prison Break” (2005 – 2006), and later cast as the protagonist for the movie “DOA: Dead or Alive” (2006), inspired by the homonymous videogame. In 2011, she was a contestant of the reality series “Strictly Come Dancing”, then from 2013 to 2014 served as a judge on the reality series “Shopaholic Showdown”, followed in 2015 by interpreting Angela in the feature film “Red Herring”.
Finally, in the personal life of the actress and singer, she was in relationships with Peter Ververis (2000 – 2006) and Alex O’Loughlin (2005 – 2009), and has been married to actor Nick Candy since 2012.
