Holly Willoughby Wiki/Biography

Holly Marie Willoughby was born on 10 February 1981, in Brighton, Sussex England, and is a model and television presenter, best known for her work with the television network ITV. She’s hosted numerous programs, including “Dancing on Ice” and “This Morning”, being active in the industry since 1999. All of her efforts have helped put her net worth to where it is today.

How rich is Holly Willoughby? As of early-2018, sources inform us of a net worth that is at $6 million, mostly earned through a successful career on television. She’s also participated in several television shows as a contestant, and as she continues her career, it is expected that her wealth will also continue to increase.

Holly attended Burgess Hill Girls and later went to the College of Richard Collyer. At 14 years of age, she attended “The Clothes Show Live” exhibition, and was spotted by various talent scouts, which lead to her signing with Storm Model Management. Soon, she would appear in various teen publications, including “More!”, “Just Seventeen” and “Mizz”, and within three years she had started modelling underwear for Pretty Polly, including appearing in several advertisements. Her net worth started to increase, thanks to these numerous opportunities.

In 2000, Willoughby then won an audition to become a part of CITV’s “S Club 7: Artistic Differences”, in which she played the character Zoe. However, she had to take on menial jobs, and took an Open University course in psychotherapy while trying to find more work on television. Eventually she secured an agent, and became a presenter of the children’s entertainment program entitled “XChange”, which would lead to other children’s shows, such as “CBBC at the Fame Academy”, and “Ministry of Mayhem’ – later renamed to “Holly & Stephen’s Saturday Showdown’. In 2004, Willoughby became the presenter of another children’s program, entitled “Feel the Fear”, and took on more programs in the next few years. She would win a BAFTA in 2006 in recognition of her work in children’s programming.

Holly then became the co-presenter of the television show “Dancing on Ice”, in which celebrities partnered with professional ice dancers. She did other programs during this time too, including “Streetmate” and “The Xtra Factor”, and would then leave “Dancing on Ice” in 2011, due to new commitments. She began presenting “The Voice UK”, but would also leave the show after two seasons.

In 2015, she began presenting the sports-based panel show entitled “Play to the Whistle”, and then worked on the dating show “Meet the Parents” the following year. Her net worth increased thanks to continuous work, and she is set to return in “Dancing on Ice” in 2018.

For her personal life, it is known that Willoughby married producer Dan Baldwin in 2007, and they have three children together, currently residing in London. She is actually dyslexic, but which obviously doesn’t effect her work in the television industry. She also does charitable work, and became a patron of the charity – “Together for Short Lives”.

1I don't mind a hairy chest, by the way boys. I think there's nothing wrong with a hairy chest.
2[to Rod Stewart] There's many an autobiography about you unofficial.
3I don't like a sad ending. I have even watched Titanic (1997) and stopped the DVD before they hit the iceberg. Why put myself through it? I'd much rather watch a drama or a film with a happy ending.
4I do think it's a shame there's no live Saturday-morning children's TV any more. Most presenters now - me and Reggie Yates, Fearne Cotton, Phil Schofield, Cat Deeley, Ant and Dec - came from kids' telly. So you do wonder where the next generation will come from.
5The first time I met Joan Collins I thought, "I have to look fabulous, because she knows how to dress and always looks fantastic."
6Box sets and Netflix suit my lifestyle. I'm obsessed with Lie to Me (2009) at the moment. I love Tim Roth so much, it's ridiculous.
7(On her experiences of working with Stephen Mulhern) Working with Stephen is certainly a lot of fun - Although I'm sure that, if he had his way, he'd probably want to saw me in half every week! As it is, I've lost count of how many times he's cut me in half, chopped my head off, stuck spikes through me or had me floating fifteen feet off the ground. But, apart from that, it's fun and I never know what's coming next.
8I have boobs and hips and I dress to accommodate them. That's not going to change. (Speaking in 2008)
