Imran is one of five children to Ikramullah Khan Niazi and Shaukat Khanum; Imran grew up with his four sisters, in an upper-middle class family, and as a result he received higher education. He attended the Aitchison College in Lahore, after which he moved to England and went to the Royal Grammar School Worcester.
