She paid the hitman – Luis Barker – $12,000, and he would go on and shoot Leon Bauchum to death; Barker was sentenced to 29 years in prison for the crime. According to reports, Jacqueline hired the hitman fearing for her own safety, from being abused by the son-in-law.
