Jared Scot Allen was born on 3rd April 1982, in Dallas, Texas USA, and is a former defensive end who played for such NFL teams as the Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears and Carolina Panthers. Although he did not win a championship ring, Jared had a successful career, in which among other achievements, he played in five pro-bowl games, and was NFL Defensive player of the Year for 2011. His career was active from 2004 until 2015.

Jared actually grew up in Morgan Hill, California on a horse ranch; he first went to Live Oak High School, but had to transfer to another school, due to an accusation that he was stealing yearbooks. He finished his high school career with 12 sacks, 96 tackles and five forced fumbles.

After the incident with yearbooks, Jared lost athletic scholarships offered by several prestigious universities, and eventually enrolled at Idaho State University, continuing on with his good performances, and earning several awards, such that his college team jersey number was subsequently retired. During his four year career, he played in 41 games, starting 33 of them, amassing 250 tackles, 38.5 tackles and 13 forced fumbles. He won the Buck Buchanan Award in is senior year.
