Jeffrey Ross Lifschultz was born on 13 September 1965, in Springfield, New Jersey USA, into a Jewish family, and as Jeff Ross is a  comedian, comic, writer, director and actor. He is almost certainly best known for his performances of what might be called ‘insult comedy’, and one of his nicknames is The Roastmaster General.
