Bush became the Governor of Texas, the family moved to Austin, where Jenna went to the St. Andrews Episcopal School, and then Austin High School, from which she matriculated in 2000.

Her writing career began back in 200-6, when she and Robert B. Barnett co-wrote the book about Jenna`s experience in Panama, entitled “Ana`s Story: A Journey Of Hope”, which came out on 28th September 2007; profits from book sales will be sent to a woman who was used as the basis for the book, and a part will be received by UNICEF. Her second book came out in 2008, entitled “Read All About It!”, intended to encourage children to read more.
