Born Jennie Lynn Finch on the 3rd September 1980, in La Miranda, California USA, she is a retired softball pitcher, whose most notable result was with the USA Women’s National Softball team, winning the gold medal in the 2004 Olympic Games held in Athens. Her career was active from 2000 until 2010, and after she retired she began working as a TV color analyst for ESPN, covering National Pro Fastpitch and college softball games.

She went to La Mirada High School, where she was a part of the softball, basketball and volleyball teams. She earned All-California Interscholastic Federation Division II selection, and for the All-Suburban League team too.

After high school, Jennie enrolled at the University of Arizona, graduating with a degree in communications, and where she continued playing softball, and was one of the best in her class. While playing for the university`s team, they won the National Championship in her junior year, and she has received several prestigious awards, including the Finals MVP, and Pitcher of The Year, among many others.
In 2004 Jennie was a part of the USA Women’s National Softball team, which won the gold medal at the Olympic Games in Athens, and four years later, she and her team won the silver medal in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

Apart from her success on national level, Jennie played in the National Pro Fast-pitch league, for the Chicago Bandits from 2005 until 2010, when she retired. In her first season, Jennie received the award of NPF’s Co-Pitcher of the Year, which she shared with Lauren Bay, who was her teammate. In 2007 she won the league’s season ERA crown, and set a single game record for the combined total strikeouts with Cat Osterman with 41. In her last season, Jennie was named All-NPF.

Jennie`s net worth also increased fthrough her media appearances; she featured in several magazines, and was mentioned in many lists, including Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, “50 Most Beautiful People”, among others.

Also, she made several on-screen appearances, in “The Real Housewives of Orange County”, and “Pros vs Joes”. In 2008, Jennie featured in the TV series “The Celebrity Apprentice”, selecting the International Breast Cancer Research Foundation as her charity – Donal Trump fired her in week four.

Jennie tried herself as an author, in 2011 publishing the book entitled “Throw Like a Girl: How to Dream Big and Believe in Yourself”, which she co-wrote with Ann Killion. Sales of the book certainly increased further her net worth.
