Jennifer grew up in her hometown and after finished high school, she enrolled at the University of Nevada, from which she obtained a degree in Biology. Having been playing poker since she was in elementary school, it was just a matter of time before Jennifer would turn professional. It happened in 2000, and she immediately won her first World Series bracelet, at her first Deuce to Seven Lowball event. Just two years later, she won her second World Series of Poker bracelet at the $5K Limit Texas hold ’em event. She was the first woman to have two WSOP bracelets, although in 2012 she was joined by Vanessa Selbst, and then in 2015 Loni Harwood won her second bracelet.
In 2004 she didn’t participate in any poker events due to her kidney transplant; it was her second such operation, as she had problems with her organs in the past, having started in her childhood years. Her mother died of kidney failure when Jennifer was 17 years old, and her sister has also had problems with kidneys.
Upon her return, Jennifer assumed 4th place at the World Poker Tour Five-Diamond World Poker Classic, then 2nd place in the WSOP Circuit Championship Event at the Rio. Throughout her career, Jennifer has won over $2.7 million at high stake games, such as the “Big Game”, held at the Bellagio, and “The Corporation”.
