Jesse Eden Metcalfe, born on the 9th December 1978 of Portuguese and Italian(mother) and French, English and Irish(father) ancestry, is an American actor who became famous for his roles in the television series “Passion” and “Desperate Housewives”.

Born in Carmel Valley Village, California, Metcalfe is the son of Nancy and Jeff. The young heartthrob started playing basketball in his teen years while attending The Williams School in New London, Connecticut. Although he had a love for sports and music, he decided to study acting in the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University.
In 1999, after being accepted after an audition for an upcoming television series, Metcalfe decided to drop out of school and focus on his career. The new series was “Passion”, in which he played the character of Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald. It debuted in 2004 and became a hit with audience, and although the series catapulted Metcalfe to stardom and tremendously helped his net worth, in 2004 he decided to leave the show to widen his horizons and pursue other options.
