Jonathan Taylor Thomas was born on 8 September 1981, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania USA, of part-Portuguese and US Dutch/German ancestry, and also known as JTT, Jonathan Weiss and Jon, is an actor who is today considered to be a former idol of teenagers and children, mostly thanks to his role in the early ’90s American TV sitcom “Home Improvement” created by David McFadzean, Carmen Finestra and Matt Williams

JTT’s parents Claudine- a social worker and personnel manager – and Stephen Weiss, a sales manager, divorced when he was 11, however, his education didn’t suffer, as he matriculated from Chaminade College Preparatory School in West Hills, California, then enrolled at Harvard University to  study philosophy and history, spending his third year  at St Andrews University in Scotland, then graduating in 2010 from the Columbia University School of General Studies.

Of course he was already into acting – his most famous role in the movie “Home Improvement” he got when Jonathan was only 10 years old, showing himself a very capable actor, and staying in the show until 1998,  finally deciding to leave to spend more time studying, at which point he attended Harvard University.
