José Fernández was born on 31st July 1992, in Santa Clara, Cuba and was a baseball player in the position of pitcher representing the team of the Miami Marlins in Major League Baseball (MLB). With only about one week left of the season he died in a boating accident on 25th September 2016 in Miami Beach, Florida – his club Miami Marlins chose not to play his match the same day.
