Born Joshua Baret Henderson on the 25th October 1981, in Dallas, Texas USA, Josh is a musician, singer, actor, and model as well, but probably best known to the world for his roles in TV series “Desperate Housewives” (2006-2007), as Austin McCann, then as John Ross Ewing in “Dallas” (2012-2014), and most recently as Kyle in “The Arrangement” (2017), among other differing appearances.
Have you ever wondered how rich Josh Henderson is, as of mid- 2017? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that Henderson’s net worth is as high as $2.5 million, an amount earned through his successful career in the entertainment industry, which has been active since the early 2000s.
Josh Henderson Net Worth $2.5 Million
Josh was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma by his mother, Sharon Lea Henderson. He was born with heterochromia, which means that his eyes are different colors – his right eye is blue, while his left eye is green. He went to Memorial High School, after which he attended Memorial Senior High School.
His career started in 2001 when he became a part of the music competition show “Popstars” aired on WB. While in the show he was teamed up with several other musicians to form the pop group Scene23, but they only released one studio album after which they disbanded.
He then started pursuing his acting career, and after minor roles in such TV series as “Maybe It’s Me” (2002), and “Do Over” (2002), he was cast by David DeCoteau in the horror thriller “Leeches!” in 2003, a particular role which launched him onto the Hollywood scene, and new roles easily started coming his way. He portrayed Pfc. Bo Rider in the TV series “Over There” in 2005, then in 2006 had several successful appearances, including the role of Brett Dolan in the drama “Step Up”, and the lead role in the horror thriller “Fingerprints”, next to Leah Pipes and Kristin Cavallari. Three years later, Josh starred in the romantic comedy “The Jerk Theory”, with Jenna Dewan Tatum, and Lauren Storm, while in 2012 he was selected for the role of John Ross Ewing in the TNT revival of the CBS prime-time soap opera, “Dallas”. He featured in 40 episodes of the show, and according to sources, received $50,000 per episode, which increased his wealth to a large degree, before the show was canceled after the third season. Most recently, since 2015 he has been portraying Kyle, the male protagonist in the TV drama series “The Arrangement”, next to Christine Evangelista and Lexa Doig, so his net worth is still rising.
Regarding his personal life, according to sources, Josh is currently single with not even a rumour about romantic associations, but in the past he was in a relationship with singer/actress Ashlee Simpson from 2002 to 2004.
Cast in his straight to video film Leeches! (2003) after his late manager Craig Wargo recommended him to director David DeCoteau. DeCoteau was so impressed with Josh that he offered him the lead role the same day he auditioned.
