Kapoor won this award reportedly for her roles in the film “Omkara” (2006) and “Jab We Met” (2007). The last award she received was for the Best Supporting Actress in the film “We Are Family” (2010). Afterwards, Kapoor was nominated for further awards, for her roles in the films “Daboo” (2010) and “Mahi Arora” (2012), though she hasn’t won more. Currently, she is working in films that are going to be released soon: “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”, “Brothers” and “Udta Punjab”. Even being moody and rebellious she is still one of the most famous and popular actresses in India.
Furthermore, Kareena Kapoor has launched her own clothing line. Kapoor was a spokesperson for the retail company titled “Globus”. She has also published several books based on forming healthy eating habits, and a book based on the true facts of her live.
In her private life, Kareena Kapoor married Indian film actor and producer Saif Ali Khan in 2012.
