Keegan Connor Tracy Net Worth $500,000

Before she moved to Vancouver, British Columbia and became an actor, Keegan moved to Sarnia, Ontario where she matriculated from St. Patrick’s High School. Later on, she attended Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario where she studied business, but eventually switched to psychology; she moved to Europe to finish her studies there, and spent a year living and working in Dublin, Paris and Nice before she returned to WLU from where she finished her education and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Psychology. While living in France she learned and became fluent in French.

Even as a child Keegan had a talent for acting, but as she once stated, she wasn’t able to take the parts she got because her mother didn’t have a car. Her career started in the late ’90s with a couple of minor and side roles in films and TV series such as “Double Jeopardy”, “Duets”, “Kill me Later”, “Viper”, “First Wave” and “The Net” to name a few.

She got her major breakthrough as an actor in the TV comedy-drama series “Beggars and Choosers”(1999-2000) portraying Audrey Malone and working alongside multiple award-winning actors Beau Bridges and Carol Kane. In 2002 she took the part of Mandy in an erotic romantic comedy film “40 days and 40 nights”, alongside Josh Hartnett, Shannyn Sossamon, and Maggie Gyllenhaal, which received mixed critiques but eventually earned over $95 million worldwide. The same year she won the Leo Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her portray of Jackie in the dramatic television series “Da Vinci’s Inquest”(1998-2005) on CBC, proclaimed by critics as the best television series in Canada, after winning the Gemini Award for Best Dramatic Series. 2003 was the year she claimed worldwide fame for her role as Katherine Kat Jennings in the supernatural horror film “Final Destination 2”, as the second installment of the “Final Destination” film series, earning around $90 million in total. In the American science fiction television series “Jake 2.0” (2003-2004) Keegan portrayed Doctor Diane Hughes, one of the main roles, but the series was canceled after just one season due to low ratings. In the period between 2004 and 2007, she took minor parts in dozens of TV series and films, still adding consistently to her net worth.

After that, she took a recurring role in the multiple award-winning TV science fiction series “Battlestar Galactica”(2004-2009) developed by Emmy Award winner Ronald D. Moore, in which she played Jeanne for nine episodes alongside two times Golden Globe Award-winner Edward James Olmos, Katee Sackhoff and Mary McDonnell. ABC’s fantasy drama television series “Once Upon a Time”(2011-present) was a major success with critics and millions of viewers, with Keegan as Blue Fairy for 35 episodes. Interestingly she went through four auditions to get the part. In 2013 she took yet another recurring role in the psychological TV horror drama series “Bates Motel”, starring Vera Farmiga and Freddie Highmore. Then for the Disney musical fantasy television film “Descendants” (2015) she originally auditioned for the role of Maleficent, but cast in the role of Queen Belle instead. Other projects worth mentioning that she has been involved in during her 20 years-long career are the movie “Jinxed”(2013) in which she portrayed Mrs. Murphy, two sequels of the movie “Dead Rising” in 2015 and ’16 in the role of Jordan Blair, and the TV series “The Magicians”(2016-2017) in the recurring role of Profesor Lipson for eight episodes, all adding to her net worth.

Regarding her personal life, Keegan Connor Tracy is married to Ez Mitchell and the couple has two daughters, and the family is currently living in Vancouver, British Columbia. She stated once that she is always playing extremes, either vulnerable girls or vixens, and that she like to give her characters as many unique edges as possible. She is a founder of a production company called Drama Queen productions. In 2016 she published her first children’s book “Mommy’s 26 careers”.

1[on performing with a flirtatious Robert Redford] It was in a charming, I'm kidding way. At the end of the scene, he'd lean over and say, 'You know where to meet me after'. I spent most of the day ogling him and thinking, 'Wow, that's why he's Robert Redford'.
